Yesterday was International Families Day and we invited parents and whanau to spend some time with us as well as enjoy a yummy lunch.
A Big THANK YOU to all that joined us - we know the children really enjoy you coming to see what they do at Village Kids.
A special thanks to Sha'la's mum Dineel for reading a story to the children. She is an awesome story teller!

Red Puppy Day
To show our support for the New Zealand Blind Foundation Guide Dog Appeal we held a "Red Puppy Day". The children helped to make puppy shaped biscuits and we made a coin trail shaped like a puppy.

| On Friday we all dressed in red and brought along a coin for the coin trail. |
| Don't we look awesome in red! We raised $62.00 for the Guide Dogs - well done and a big THANK YOU to all our families for supporting the day. |
